KikTak Reels is a short video app designed for users aged 12 years and older. We are committed to keeping children safe and we do not tolerate any content or behavior that harms or exploits a child.
This page explains how we protect children who use our services on the KikTak Reels website https://kiktak.com and in our mobile apps.
Our Rules About Children
We do not allow any of the following on KikTak Reels:
- Child sexual abuse or exploitation content (CSAE) or child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
- Sexualized images or videos of minors, including partially dressed or posed in a sexual way.
- Grooming, romantic or sexual chats directed at minors.
- Sharing, requesting or trading nude or sexual images or videos of minors.
- Harassment, bullying or threats towards children.
- Encouraging minors to self-harm, use drugs or take other dangerous actions.
We may remove content, restrict features or permanently ban accounts that break these rules.
Age and Account Controls
KikTak Reels is intended for users who are 12 years of age or older.
We may ask users to confirm their age and we may limit access to some features if we believe a user is under our minimum age.
We may also restrict certain features that allow sharing of personal information (for example, direct messages) to help protect younger users.
Moderation and Reporting
We use a combination of automated tools and human review to detect and remove harmful content, including possible CSAE/CSAM.
Users can report a video, comment or profile directly in the app by using the “Report” option and choosing a reason such as “Child sexual abuse or exploitation”, “Underage user” or “Harassment/bullying”.
We review reports as quickly as we can. When necessary, we may remove content, suspend or permanently disable accounts, and preserve evidence.
Cooperation With Authorities
When we believe that a child is at risk or that a crime has occurred, we may report suspected CSAE/CSAM to the appropriate law‑enforcement or child‑protection agencies.
We may share account information, content and technical logs with these agencies when required by law and in line with our Privacy Policy.
Parents and Guardians
We encourage parents and guardians to talk with their children about online safety and to review how they use KikTak Reels.
Parents can help by monitoring their child’s use of the app, teaching them not to share personal details, and encouraging them to report anything that feels unsafe or uncomfortable.
